The job hunt continues, and development has stalled as I continue to diversify my skill set into more languages. Thus far I am pretty rockin with: C# JavaScript jQuery Python HTML CSS Right now I am figuring out AngularJS. The truth of the matter is, once you get one language in your noggin the rest comes pretty naturally. Hopefully it pays off. I will start hitting the Game Development again once I get employed. Right now, I am devoting all my energies to securing a job because without that I just can't manage. I want to start a feature on design to share with you as I gear up for my next larger project. In fact, I really need help in deciding what to do. So instead of more game stuff. Here is a video from Allium Hunter: Paddle Star's composer. She does a playthrough. Check it the video below, and also check out her site at http://gudstuff.wixsite.com/musicvsart. Remember I released the entire game, so i you haven't played it, go download it post haste. I want to see some high scores int he comments! If you haven't played Berry Patch yet, it has been updated and is up on the site for both PC and Mac. If my Patreon hits $30, I will put it out for Android as well. Help make it possible. Spread the word!
I would like to make the Android and potential iOS download somehow raise money for the National MS Society, since it is only a small simple game. Just an update on various projects I am working on.

It is complete. I am ready for the next thing.
I am lying a little bit. If I were to release the game on a large marketplace, it probably needs a comb over or two, but honestly I could spend forever touching it up. So the question becomes what should I do next? I am currently caught between two projects. One is a school simulation game, and no it is not an anime dating game, but instead something completely different. I also have an idea for an action-adventure RPG that will play like a 90's Japanese action game. so I am torn. If you haven't played HEXFALL you should go check it out. It is super basic, but it showed me I could do a puzzle game. So yeah, lots happening. I will have some demos coming to Patreon supporters eithr today or tomorrow, so stay tuned if you are a patron. Other than that, keep posted.
Today is a day for celebration. All the music to be used in Allium Hunter: Paddle Star is finished and in the game. All that truly remains is the final boss, end credits, saving and loading data and the high score page. And while that all sounds super easy, the records page is by and far the absolute worst. I often sit for a long time thinking about how best to do it only to get completely frustrated and instead do something else. Well, I am running out of tasks to hide in, so I really need to make this records page happen. In the coming weeks expect a few things to happen. First, my friends at EdgeOfInfinityGaming have been doing some serious Overwatch streaming, so if you are at all interested in that game, you should check out their videos. Honestly, maybe it is just because I have been mired so long in 2D Ball physics, but I cannot wrap my head around how talented they are. They will be doing a follow-up to our previous video featuring more gameplay from Paddle Star including music and enhanced graphics and animations. Also, I want to send a quick shout out to Nicole Marie T for composing the Paddle Star score. Nicole really captured the heart of the Game Boy's sound and seeing as Paddle Star is a tribute to that system, I couldn't be happier with the results of her output. She has a lot of great work over at her site, Music VS Art, to help game developers with both music and art assets for their games. Make sure to check it out and follow her @musicvsartstuff on Twitter. Look forward to hearing some of that music as videos release over the coming months. Finally, I will be presenting Allium Hunter: Paddle Star at the upcoming Munich event Show Your Games 2016. It's happening 9/19 and starts at 7 PM at Grafingerstrasse 6 in the WERK 1 München event space on the 2nd Floor of the building. Many talented creators will be showcasing their projects there, and I hope as many people make it there as possible. The first level of Paddle Star will definitely be playable. I'm on the road to the end. Thanks to all those sticking with me. Alex If it's been quiet on my page it is only because I just moved from the USA to Germany this month. Today is the first day my workstation has been up and running for about two weeks. That's okay because everything is still on a good course and testing for the next beta should begin by the end of this month. Being new to Germany there are many matters that need attending to, like finding a new job, registering with the country, and also documenting what will be the other pillars of my stay here, which I will announce shortly. In the meantime stay tuned for more in the way of updates.
